Frankenstein’s Bride

Love from the heart, pure and simple, has landed
like a lightning bolt.
I was blinded by its flash.

I felt its force running over me, running through me, holding me, possessing me,
and somewhere from far away, I wondered if I’d ever be the same.
Slowly it released me and when I opened my eyes I beheld you.
You have given me new life,
through you I have been reborn.
