FREDDY’S STRIFE

FREDDY'S STRIFE
Sometimes here
sometimes there
how does my youngest
brother fare.
On vessels at sea
or in port
he fixes any size
ship or sort.
His type of work
requires travel
to find the problems
to unravel.
Get the ship
back to sea
to ship the goods
to you and me.
A family life
with wife and kids
is hard to fit
with work that's his.
Chasing problems
the world he's traveled
then coming home
to a marriage unraveled
But he's found his peace
and found his place
and now is happy
see it in his face.
