Free

Our warm bodies pressed firmly together,
eager lips, closely knit.
I shiver as his silken hands run over me.
With skin as smooth as ivory,
And lips as sweet as sweet can be,
Finally I feel quite free,
From everything confining me.
All fear and worry dissipate,
Moved to such a place, my hearts elate.
And then he's gone.
I must inanely carry on.
Finally I'd felt quite free,
But only momentarily.
But in my anguish
I turn my face,
To the Son extending grace.
He offered me, a brand new slate,
A new creation, different fate.
The love I searched for
All this time
was right before my very eyes.
Despite strained efforts to go awry,
He says, I am yours, and you are mine.
And finally, I feel so free,
This time with Him, eternally.
