Free in the Sea
"The sea is everything," stated the captain.
Life exists everywhere, there is no place where nothing happens.
The oceans depths men have not yet had the chance to tread,
The day these depths are discovered is a day I dread.
It is here that I am free,
Free from all obligations which previously pestered me.
It is here where I am held to no bounds,
Free to take account of the sea's great confounds.
It is here where I can have the grandest adventure,
Free from the land's might grip of indenture.
I quietly live watching the sun rise and fall with the light,
Gladly free from the land and all its might.
