Freedom?

The land of the free and the home of the brave,
An undiscovered life that everyone craved
We fought for independence,
Choices and decisions,Inveighing asperity shielded by religion

The battle was won,From there it begun
An opportunity for something greater
Like any new nation,It was an imperfect creation

Bolted to the cars of progress

One hundred years later,Still void of our savior
Natural Rights were still based on color
But the first amendment says, Anything could be said

Bolted to the cars of progress

One more century later, the First was our savior
Everyone deserves to be heard
Your prerogative was respected,But not always accepted

Bolted to the cars of progress

Now this world that we live in, Will hear no God or religion
We are hindered by the cage of offense
If it is the slightest controversy, Then it is deemed unworthy

Bolted to the cars of progress
