Freedom

By Marissa

she feels so lonely,
all alone in the dark.
her heart aches with pain,
he left quite a mark.
he drove her away,
distancing her from the rest.
she said she was done,
hoping it was the best.
he thinks he won,
going after tons of girls.
he will soon see he messed up,
he lost those brown curls.
she is finally happy,
now that she has left.
he may not steal her happiness,
that is called theft.
she has moved on,
living a happy life.
while he sees he messed up,
he had lost his future wife.
