Freedom Flight

A bird with no wings,
A destination with no flight,
A desire with no reach,
A fight with no might.

These four walls, they surround me,
With no-ones fault, but my own,
Many others they surround me,
But never have I felt so alone.

I cry out to be heard,
But no-one can hear,
Never in my life,
Have I felt so much fear.

But one thing is for sure,
One thing I do know,
My wings, they will grow,
And I will take flight,
Towards the safety of my home.

One day I will get there,
One day you will see,
One day I will get there,
One day I will be free.
