Fresco

With blood dripping down my walls,
The fresco became ominous,
But it was glorious, nonetheless.

Whether David knew of the progress or not,
Four years seemed to be a long time to create my final judgement.

As a result, I was left a legend in the midst of angels.
Demons taunt,
As if that would deter my movements.

But as 1541 arrived,
I was left with a complete masterpiece.
