I think these poems are helping me in so many ways,
They’re making it easier to get through the days,
I can now get my thoughts, my feelings on the page,
So I’m not just sitting here filling with rage.
I like to make rhymes and I like to spit the truth,
It’s kind of sad to those who don’t know the use,
That doing these kinds of things will help you in the end,
They’ll let you move on to see passed the bends.
The bends and breaks that come with sacrifice,
The giving up of your feelings, all those passionate nights,
That you look back to now and wonder what happened,
Where did it all go, why is the light now blackened?
Well I can’t answer that with any knowledgeable sooth,
But I know it gets better, and that’s always the truth,
So thank you again, for I’ve found my mojo once more,
I can now say these words without feeling sore.
