Freshly Fallen Snow

I'm falling fast,
Into oblivion. Will I last?
Up high in the sky,
I'm not falling, I fly.
Whisped around in the crisp wind.
I'm cold and small like mist.
As I fly, I get colder.
I'm tired getting older.
Now I am dizzy I whirl around.
I look down, almost at the ground
And like a feather I fall.
Lightly lie myself down.
Now I know
I am freshly fallen snow.
