From Oasis to Chaos

By

Countries and cities deserted
As if death has come upon us all around
Flowers have not yet bloomed
The sun is out, yet we all remain indoors
Torn between visiting.

Job shortages, lost mortgages
Decisions few
life in the time of the Coronavirus

The sun has risen quotidianly
Whilst our countries remain frozen in chaos
Scattered evidence, Preconceptions
Fragment by fragment all takes shape
Quarantined within our own space
Life in the time of the Coronavirus

At heart we all have suspicious minds
Confinement of the Coronavirus
Unveiling despondency
Positivity alongside empathy will once again prevail
Awaiting a resolution in our era of evolution
This is my vision for the center of the earth
A new rebirth
