From the Bottom
Don't talk to me, just look at me
I think if you only do that, then you'll understand how I feel
It is best this way, since words sometimes can't express it
Look deep, deep into my eyes
Do you see those contour lines curving in every direction?
That's your name that you are seeing
Along with the broken glass from the mirror of my soul
And yet I still love you more than you know
Look around you, what do you see?
Do you feel any different now that half of your heart is missing?
Since you threw it away?
Do you see things differently now?
Or perhaps, maybe you do still have that other half of your heart
You just don't know how to let go of it
Maybe you do not even want to
I guess it is just complicated
I'm sorry for my feelings, I suppose I'm only human
It's not your fault, nor do I want you to blame yourself
It's me who still loves you
Never forget that I will forever hold the love we had
Every aspect of our past is at the bottom of my heart
The pressure from the constant beating held against it all
I was falling, falling, falling
I never expected to hit the ground
