From This World

I am from the abuse of liquor and drugs
Dark and sad days of loneliness, but love
Verbal abuse; inconsiderate complaints
Ignorance of consistency; religious debates
I am from the noisy thoughts inside
The madness and attacks on disbeliefs and pride
I'm from discrimination and little peace
Because where I'm from
We bring down the successors to face defeat
We have to face the impurities
And fight to show proof
So where I'm from
I face the lies and the truth
I am from pain, suffering, and unfinished business
I am from the poor to the get rich quickness
From strait jackets to Christian rich kids
I am from south side farms to Golden Gate Bridge
Where poverty is a joke in most fortunate's eyes
And every man is for the me, myself, and I
I am from music and intelligence
I am from where all people should be relevant
I am from pray to Him or call on fate
From the place where its love or hate
I am from this world
And this world is Hell's Gate
