Frozen

I cry your tears
because tears will not fall from frozen eyes.
The suffering you endure for years
ends in helpless cries.
Although I have never met you,
I love you just the same.
Grief for your death will surely ensue
your demise, for which beauty is to blame.
Peace of mind is what I seek.
To end the torment is my ambition.
Behind the bars from which you peek lies the heart
of my divine mission.
Before you die
to better the human race
be sure I will cry
the tears frozen upon your face.
