Frozen Heart

Hot water is not the medicine for a frozen heart,
it cracks it and causes it to bleed from the inside out.
Torn between the fight for you I hold my head down with shame
for overcompensating you.
I held out my hand because I knew it was you
how was I to know you would become untrue.

The blacken skies hurt my eyes
and now the truth is confirmed by you,
frozen hearts never last unless the truth is renounced to you.
As my cracked heart continues to be unthawed
you claw your nails deeper into whats been unresloved.

My body becomes aware
of my exhausted pain through you,
and numbs my mouth before I can scream my pain to you.
