Fruits on a Tree

She came to him
like a short impending dream
while the man sits still
with the silver golden ring

He tossed it up to the bark with all the leaves
while his girl comes up and speaks with so much glee
Watch this
the man quickly replied
as he hid the golden ring
on the tree so high.

He said
Try to hit the apple if you’re up for a game
I got a diamond made for you if you’re good with your aim
One hit and the rock misses the bark
but the second hit made a shock throughout the park.

He bended down on one of his knees
and laid true before his mistress
winking an eye
having no shortage on the kisses
She quickly said yes
before she jumped into his arms
as he promised the best and
carried her afar
