Full of It (Parts)

By Caleb

Entering every second of now is lost
I see you reaching out for my face
My heart beating anxiously
Without attempting any kind of race
All of those words said years ago
Are blasted so loudly into my ears
That I wonder why today is the way it is here
No answers mock me into closure
Most could say it's my mind
It is said say they don't know us
We played games all night long and deep into New Year's Eve
Only for me to reevaluate
That it was just me
I lost my time on Earth over you
Believing that we would see each other
And make love the way we used to
Dreams awake now
Sleep is death eternal
I can't live with it anymore,
Stopped by a question mark with a sermon
Who are you to love me?
I imagine you ask
As I lie here
Remembering our past
