Why is our love so futile?
You haven't cared about me for a while
We've been falling behind
I don't even notice when my teeth grind
All I ever wanted was to be your friend
And all you wanted was for us to end
Who would have thought that you would be the cause
Of all of my destruction just by pressing pause?
You can't just stop my love
It storms and churns like sick clouds above
I keep on looking for you in everything
