Future Memories

As I lay here in my bed
I can only think of future memories that lie ahead
Many things will be spoken
But some will feel like we are chokin'
Nothing can be perfect
In all fairness it is all worth it
They say memories can only last
If you experienced them in the past
One day future memories will exist
For I see plans on one big list
Lets not forget the person I will be with
For having the perfect girl is no longer a myth
As I lay here I begin to see
All the dreams that include you and me
I promise you to live this future thought
For one day we'll tie the knot
Never leaving your side at any night
To guide your path with the given light
As I lay here ready to dream
I begin to see a crystal stream
Only flows the path you lead
Will cross through anything that you need
There you'll be on the other side
Flashing through the future to show me my bride
As I lay here with you on my mind
I will always begin to find
These future memories that I can call mine
