Future of our Fatherland

Future of our Fatherland

I see a land.
Free of strife and corruption.
A land of selfless leaders
and faithful followers.

I see a land,
realized,
either by blood of the innocent,
spilled on thirsty vines.
Or by a dinner,
Of Choco-pepper and lemon-cupcakes.
or relentless words of patriots.
or by the repentance of tyrannical-democrats
and the cohorts of totalitarian-diplomats.
Or by the touch of a divine being.

I see,
grains of hope.
I see,
A Nigeria.
