You were a sweet, blue-eyed, excited little boy
Growing up with you, so great memories of joy
The adventures we had while playing in the sun
Stay deep in my soul, even when my life is done
You're my best friend, my brother, my partner in crime
We may cause mischief, but it's a hell of a time!
On the beautiful mornings we'd race out the door
The forest was our playground for us to explore
We found an island in the woods and made it ours
We went camping in the fields, right under the stars
We swam in the clear steams, so fresh and so free
And Gabe, I'm lucky you spent your childhood with me
