Gamble

I warn you of the demons,
they come in soft disguise.
They taste so sweet
and soothe all pain,
fly up from hell
to hiss your name.
The cost to you, their only goal-
claim your life and steal your soul.
Many lives have lost their way,
unknowing of the price to pay.
Turn away while you are young,
sing your song with your own tongue.
