Game Night

The feeling on game night
Putting on pads and lacing my cleats so tight
Looking in the air, all you see is bright lights
Try to play our best as we give all of our might

The goosebumps arise as the crown screams so loud
Running onto the field as we try to make them proud
They believe into our team and have no doubt
Cheering us on as they scream and shout

Whistle gets blown and we run to hit
Biting onto our mouthpieces as we bite and grit
Our opponents are tough but there is no backing down
Its a rivalry game and we want the crown

As the end draws near the game is so close
The pressure this game is much more than most
The game has just ended and we won the fight
There is no other feeling than the one on game night
