Gardener

My body is your garden
Your smiles plant seeds within me
They bloom to the sound of your laughter
Kind words help them flourish

Smiles begin to fade
Laughter subsides
Flowers wilt

Happiness comes to a halt
Only echoes of yourself
My tears bring the flowers back to life

I pluck the flowers planted deep within
Ripping pieces of my heart along with them
As I proceed to lay them on your grave
