Gardening to Forget
You take away from me what is easily saved.
Is the day worth that kind of pain?—
To become your infinite want—
Do I dare to ask you what you need?
May I ask are you in love with me?
Remembering isn't easy anymore.
Do you know how to care?
I plant the seeds for you and they bloom.
I feed my time with uncontrollable hunger
and whom do you care for?
It is not me.

Gardening to Forget is about a time when I did not feel like working in the garden. From preparing it to remembering what goes where was not an exciting experience that year.
