I am exhausted
So tired in mind
And in body
Exhausted my strength leaves me
With its long wave goodbye
To travel some other path
Alongside a stranger
Exhausted I contest not this departure
I muster no rebellion
Utter no protest
Have I condemned myself
Aiding my demise
Slave servant or free I exhaust myself
Is not a good thing to be
I am weary
And weak
Restless, I sleep not
My eyes betray this exhaustion
My knees fail
At the weight of legs stood upon
I lie down exhausted
So tired
In mind
And in body.
