Get to Know Her

There she sat with her cane still in hand
not feeding the pigeons but hearing the band
heavy metal blasting
all she can see
are the people staring as she sips her tea
tapping her toe
and fixing her hair
the mohawk that stands high in the air
the sweet smile on her face just never fades
as she reads all the letters her grandchildren made
She may look different
she may turn heads
but looks are not everything
Her heart isn't lead
she really is sweet
she just has some style
get to know her a little
she'll give you love by the pile
so before you judge
get to know
no one's completely filled with woe
