Ghost Town

I live in a ghost town
Where people watching is
Like sidewalk chasing
Where you don't know everyone
But there's no new faces

I live in a ghost town
Where growing up
Is a cycle of overbearingness
And neglectful listlessness

I live in a ghost town
Where one stoplight was
All you need
And one cop car is enough
Because the biggest problem
Is cooking in your cousins basement

I live in a ghost town
Where churches feel empty
But everyone goes
Where Gods presence lives
But it doesn't necessarily show

I live in a ghost town
And sometimes I wish
I could fly away
To another ghost town
In another ghost place
