Girl Trapped As Boy

She's all girl,
but born a boy
a patterned boy
made of plastic and metal rods
who cycles on a bike of skin and bones
a tight shirt ripped by
Sharpened edges and finger points
Wheels spin on squares
clinking across blue ground
with a sky of grass
Sighs escape through extremities
slip past rust and the rhythmic
pace of a hidden child
circling an upside-down world
