Glass Half Empty

I am a half-empty glass of water
that's impure and stale from sitting out in a musty room.

I am a half-empty glass of water:
giving myself drop-by-drop to others.

I am a half-empty glass of water
that provided nourishment for everyone until I am not remembered.

I am a half-empty glass of water,
drained into obliviation when my remains are poured into the sink.

I was a half-empty glass of water,
but now I am wasted away and forgotten.
