Glasses

By NG

Why do I sit here at night?
Surely
During the day no one can tell
But at night
I’m a different person
The water runs
I can’t stop it
I shake
Crumble
Everything feels hot
Help me please
I can’t breathe
Oh
You can’t help me
You can’t even see me
I can’t see me
I can’t see anything
I need my glasses
Where are my glasses?
I can’t see
You need glasses
You can’t see either
I’ll get you a pair
We’ll get them together
Well
After I find my pair
But glasses won’t help me
The heat will fog them up
Help me
Please
Why am I like this?
What is wrong with me?
Why do I sit here at night?
I can’t see anyways
Neither can you
It’s too dark
