Glory – Bound

A cloistered room
With a set of see-through curtains
Hugs the dawn
And what lies beyond,
A translucent image
Filtering through
Clear sheers
In prism-hued pebbles
Dancing up and down
On slats of bamboo blind,
An image of
An earth-dwelling seraph
Shattered by the light outer reaches
Spattered into crumbs
Of celestial vigilants.
The vestigial image wavers
Into the powers that be
And the terms of entreatment
That hold the whole
Before it shivers into shadow.
