God Meets Wolf

A wolf howling at the Moon
Meets God when the clock
Strikes midnight under a starry sky
Watch the dark melting away
In the Glory of his song
Seeing the demons coming
While the shadows are whispering something,
The bad side yells sweet nothings
Fingertips dip into this plush folklore
Showing all too superstitious
Writings on the wall
Snowflakes stem
From the prickly woes
Of the far away made past mistakes
In the making ages ago
Seems just yesterday
With the thinking
In which says the cold air
Has been sucked out of winter
Into the absorbing channels by bitter hearts,
But the wolf meets God since
God’s greatness greets the wolf
From one howl off the animal’s tongue
At the strike of midnight
