Going For A Walk

Mountains on a rainy day
Give them your hand
To see the horizon
Again and again
I wait
For the clouds to clear
Nothing comes
Not a thing goes
It all seems the same
Before I take off ambitiously
Barefoot,
And I can feel the Earth between my toes
As the wind brushes against my face,
Since this is exactly what I live for:
The simple stuff
Some like to call it,
But this is all I’ve got
Tiny joys are my World
Building to a much bigger goal
Reaching for happiness
Moment by moment
One step at a Time
Not to get farther than others
Because this is not a race,
Yet this is Life
Where bad luck
Says welcome to the scenery,
So let’s adjust
Grab this hand
To find the most beautiful mountain peaks
Even on the rainiest of days
