Gone but Never Forgotten

Although you are gone you are never forgotten
your soft mellow voice
will forever be spoken
I will think about you in the
darkness of the night
with my pillow at my head and my
feet nestled tight
the moment you left this
glorious earth
a part of me broke and another was mended
you are my love
like silky, dark chocolate
it's dreamy, rich fondess is a feeling
that can't be forgotten
dealing with death is a disease
that can never be cured
it's like a ripped sheet of paper
that can never be glued
the feeling of death is a
sad gust of wind
that keeps blowing and blowing
without ever an end
but when I'm feeling alone
I will remember our love
you are floating on a cloud
looking down from above
