Good Memories

Black dresses swish.
Ties are tightened.
Everyone's wish
Is to not be frightened.

This excitement
Is everywhere.
There's enticement
In the taut air.

How great is it to sing?
It's a most thrilling thing,
To be so connected.
It's almost electric!

The words come to life
In those moments of strife.
Our voices become one
And the hard work is done.

You can hear the rambunctious 'Ay's!'
As everyone there celebrates;
Reminding us of these good days
To look back on when we part ways.
