The discomposing smile you gave
Resides with me for eternity
I knew it was valedictory
Numb, I stood because it was not meant to end so soon
The journey was not completed yet
The path lay listless

The discomposing smile you gave trembled upon me with scars
Scars, so deep which tore me apart
Healing never offered a chance
For it knew time would never bury the last glance
Memories forbid to express the grief
As it would do no bar

The discomposing smile you gave
Still leads me to the circle
Where the end loses its charm
I called upon you at my loudest but,
Silence worked upon its magic
The wand rolled down this evening
The depth to which I feared pulls me to tranquility
The kind of peace which I never demanded
As it costed a high for which the loss was you
Beneath that smile, I could hear a goodbye.
