Goodbye

Goodbye
It came out in a coy, tearful whisper
As she cleaved graves into surface of her forearms
The void Xanax bottle lying by her side
Briny tears crashing down onto the hardwood floor

She laid her head onto the floor as she drifted off into her dreams
The sugary relief of letting go
She gazed into the rose and lavender sunset as the sky went dark
As she lay in a field created by her own fascination
Her mind filled with the raw scent of jasmine
Ivory petals surround her
Silken, viridescent grass outlines the contours of her pastel figure

Lilliputian, frozen crystals descend from the blue
Flakes of ice perch on her elegant mahogany curls
Verglas slowly takes over her body
Her lips turn to a peaceful shade of azul
The glacial domain torpefy her pale body

Goodbye
She puled as she put her eyes at rest
To this young, winsome woman
A blissful ending at last
