Dear Tio Danny,
Although I was not there to tell you goodbye,
Nobody knows how I feel and I’ll tell you why.
I’ll always remember all the fun days we had,
Each time you came over I felt really glad.
Laughter and playing was your way to be,

Making us very happy was all you could see.
And thinking of that I still can recall,
Last time we went out to play some stickball.
Down in Lakewood where you used to reside,
Only to give up without losing your pride.
Now that you’re gone it’s so hard for me,
At least now I know that you are pain free.
Don’t ever forget Tio you’ll never be blue,
On top of all that, I’ll always love you!

Your nephew,
Johnny Maldonado
