A dream that never was
A weaving cobweb you gently pull aside
But I slip into cracks
And I sprain ankles
And fall behind
My heart is wide open
But I am alone
And the ships came and went
While I struggled to catch up
So here I stay on this island
This abyss within my own head
Left to go mad
I will take no hostages with me
I will wave a slow goodbye
And laugh it all away
