Goodbye.
This dark world is evil, that is well known,
but not everyone loses that battle on their own.
I wish I knew your struggle, the battle you were in,
if only the chance you would have given,
for someone to jump in.
You must of been wounded deep down inside,
because your battle you did your best to hide.
Your absence is painful, your silence is too loud.
Oh how I wish we had more than the memory left here now.
I would of carried you,
together we could of fought the demon that took you way too soon.
My friend, my brother all I want to say,
is that forever in our hearts your memory will stay.
Our love for you continues until the end of time.
Oh how I wish that this world would have been more kind.
The days were long,
the pain must have been terribly too strong,
you are missed more than I can say,
oh what would be given for just another day.
I wish this was hello, but sadly this is goodbye.
