Goodbye, My Love

To my love I rid of thee.
Thy clutching suffocates-
I lose my breath; no longer free.
Death standing there as he anticipates-

My arrival. My torso's cage,
imprisoning the heart beneath it.
Until it lets loose with rage,
Then gives away...the life is slit.

Starving for perfection,
yet it is non-existent.
The obsession turns into infection,
my love no longer consistence.

To my love I say my Goodbyes.
I will turn my head and shut my eyes.
