GPS

She ran as fast as the wind,
Farther than the road could go,
Away with rage and sin.
She ran away alone,
Thoughts of guilt and mistrust
Burning inside of her soul.
To get as far as she should go,
She ran away alone,
Tear filled eyes,
Heart pounding hard and fast,
Palms wet with sweat.
She ran away alone.
Far away she came to a stop,
Wondered where she was.
Lost out in the dark,
She ran away alone!
(Moral of the story: Next time bring a GPS.)
