Graceful Destruction

Like the afterparty, you got me
A young girl anticipating,
Anxious to make mistakes
That I won't hesitate to repeat
If I get to feel this way again
We keep living to fill our hearts,
Understand pain, overwhelm our souls
The sight of you alone does this,
The touch of you could kill me
And yet I wouldn't mind
It's an unnatural desire
To completely let yourself fall,
Trust someone with all you have
With no promise in return;
Just like that I'm lost
Sinking in a love I can't vision myself out of
This is why I can't let go,
Giving up would mean drowning myself
Why do that,
When you could do it evanescently?
