Grandmother holds the Rosary

I noticed when you’re in prayer
The wind begins to rush
Thoughts of love for those who’ve hurt you
The deeper the words
the stronger the gust
Your finger treads the rosary
for those who did you wrong
bead by bead
verses of healing
As the wind picks up speed
Are your words too mighty
And your intent so good
Even Mother Nature surrenders
To your sainthood
Did you know when you’re in prayer
The sun begins to shine
peace be with all
The clouds roll out and the birds fly high
I swear when you’re in prayer
The sky opens up
And for a moment
God appears
And says thank you for the love
