Gratitude to our Heroes

Our world has changed in a blink of an eye,
For overnight, it seems our loved ones say goodbye
Coronavirus has infected our planet,
Let us join together to fight it.
Corona has brought our world to knees,
Pleading for mercy, punishment we receive;
But behind are Doctors seeing how they strive,
till their last breath the virus they fight.
Not all of them are same, but the truth is what they proclaim,
Without them, our world would have been lost.
Patients admitted in countless numbers,
and the nurses labouring with limited resources.
Their two hands being their very tools,
Find them beaten and bruised from their wounds.
Health care workers are more than full-time workers
they are listeners, optimists, caregiver and friends.
They leave behind their family for strangers
Are they not our real power rangers?
Sacrificing the freedom they serve, to restore the lost kingdom.
They are at war, with no guns or armours
Here's a pleading from our Health care workers,
" Stay home, stay safe and forgot not to social distance"
Prevention is better than cure
So take care of yourself for sure.
On this day,
From the world fighting the pandemic
To the frontline warriors,
