I use to be cold, frozen solid
Like an iceberg floating in open waters
Nothing could get in my way, I was unbreakable

Then beams of light came shining across the sky
Like nothing I had seen before
You rose across the ocean
Blinding me with your brightness

You lit the world in a way I had never imagined it
Your warmth began to melt me away

For what I didn't know was that with each sunrise
There was a sunset
And what I thought would last forever
Would eventually fade away

I was no longer myself, I had melted away
I thought I would never be the same again
And I was right

I was no longer like an iceberg
Alone and in the dark
Instead I had become part of the sea
Greater and more powerful
