Fall with its vibrant color pallet brings a masterpiece of design.
Red, yellow and orange leaves weigh heavier with time.
Trees can no longer carry, leaves are swept away.
“Out with the old and in with the new!” The wind howls, scattering leaves along the bay.
Across the yards of closely-knit neighborhoods, people begin to wake.
The smell of hot coffee fills homes, eager for the take.
The early morning chill clings to the floor as little bare feet thump to the door.
The sun has crest along the entrance to the neighborhood, slowly rising to the sky.
The morning dew glistens along the trees while the remaining leaves are ever so sly!
Banners mark the unmistakable trot while a group of contenders are ready for the plot.
People gather to watch the parade while thankful for those among this marvelous escapade.
Many have lost, many have loved, what matters most is cherishing those above.
Travelers all across the country make their way home,
Arriving to smiling families and Mom’s famous Turkey roasting in a perfect dome.
It is unmistakably that time of year, full of everyone’s love and ambient cheer.

Happy Thanksgiving!
