Grieving in Acrostics

Hopelessly resigned beneath a cloud of gloom
Elegiac emotions over lives taken away too soon
Alone I lament through losses that pass unnoticed
Rallying love for all species by a votist
Torenia fournieri is a wishbone no more
Blighted by mildew, plenty worse than an eyesore
Rounding up the miseries ushered into this day
Of a plant and pet parent trapped in sentimental swordplay
Kitty died after two months of life
Egregious pneumonia that caused her much strife
No one to witness grief cut through like a knife!
