Grievous Lady

By Megumi

Once there was a lady,
wearing black dress.
She looked a bit shady,
but that’s just my guess.

Crying on graveyard,
her friend passed away.
I am her safeguard,
but just for this day.

I tried to hold her,
but she cannot feel.
It’s getting colder
and she has to heal.

She is still grieving,
covering her face.
My body’s decaying
at a slow pace.
